Waiting for the World to Change

As McSomethingkins has so kindly reminded me yet again, I am getting behind on this blog thing. It has really only been a week this time, so I don't know what she is whining about:). It just takes me a little longer to post, because as of yet I don't have the internet at home (it is supposed to be up and running today. Yea!) and I am so incredibly busy at work. I hardly have time to even check my email! And this week is going to be worse. I will be doing three people's jobs as opposed to the regular two. I am supposed to have had a full time assistant start last Monday, but who knows where she is. My boss knew her from a past job, so he wants her to be here (blah) but he is in Italy for the next week, and I don't know how to get a hold of her or anything. And, my part time assistant is in New York til next week. I am a little overloaded and stressed, but everything will be fine in the end.

So, there is this show that I am completely hooked on, and I am a little embarrassed about it. I made fun of it for a while, then I actually watched it and it is so much fun! I am a So You Think You Can Dance groupie. There, I said it. It is just a happy and upbeat show and I love it!

Random thought: Why is the word "blog" not in the spell check? This is a blog site, so you think that they might put in in. Hmmmm.

Dream when you're feeling blue

I know it has been a while since I have written. I have been told this by many a comment. It is just that the train hasn't left the station in a while. The train of thought that is. I see the only people that read this frequently, and they are a part of any story that I would have to tell. I guess I could pull a feather out of the duckling's hat and tell you about a dream that I had last night. It is kind of a weird one. I was at work and the receptionist told me that I had to drive to Wendover and pick up one of my residents that died a few weeks ago. I guess his niece had moved him to a care center and he died there, but she wanted me to bring him and his casket back for the funeral. She couldn't go get him because she was going on vacation. I asked the receptionist how I was supposed to fit a casket in my car, and she told me to take the work van. But, it wasn't the bus that I normally drive. It was a mini van. So, I drove it Wendover all by myself to pick up this casket. I get there, and they couldn't find it. We looked everywhere and finally found it. Then, we folded down the seats in the back of the van, and put it in the back. It wouldn't really fit unless it was on an angle. I really wanted someone to come back with me, because I knew that his ghost was there, and I was terrified. I started to drive on I-80 and I woke up. It was like 3 in the morning, and I was so scared in my dark room, so I turned on my lamp and the TV. Weird. But, that is not the oddest dream that I have had lately. Some have been really, really screwed up.
It was my birthday last week, and I really appreciate Duckling, Somethingkins, and Pinkie for all that they did for me. I had a really hard week and I am sorry that I was really cranky at times, but I really did enjoy all you guys did!
