Brink of Disaster

I have a traffic analogy. There is this little car (let's call him Frank) driving down the road. It decides to take a route, and finds green lights and no curves stretching as far as the eye can see. Frank drives along a certain distance and comes to a giant roadblock at the edge of a canyon in this perfect and easy travelling road. He is very disappointed and doesn't really know what to do. Does he turn around and head back, or does he back up and try to jump to schism? Now Frank doesn't want to drop down into the water (he has had certain experience rescuing people from drowning in the depths of canyon waters). But, he doesn't really want to backtrack either. Quite the conundrum.
Pinkie and I went to a cool concert last night. We went to see Mae, but wanted to get there late because there were two opening bands. The concert started at 7:30, and we showed up around 8. It was at The Avalon which is a really small arena (300 people) and as we were walking in, we realized how dark it was. The power was out! We go into the theatre and noticed people scurrying about trying to get the concert going in the dark. They hooked up the mics to the battery from the tour bus and put candles and glow sticks all around the stage. It was awesome! The first band started playing an acoustic set. It was very rock-and-roll. About halfway through their set, the power came back on. They finished up acoustic and then everything had to be reset for the second band. It stopped being awesome about then:). Finally at about 10, Mae came on. That is when the awesomeness returned. They were great, and it was so fun to watch them in such a small setting.

I think it's up to Frank to re-invent himself into a bionic turbo jet plane with vaporizing lasers to take care of that silly little stream . . . or, since he's a jet now, he could just fly over.

Wait, where did Frank come from? Why is he in your post? What did that have to do with the concert?

I am majorly confused. Does Frank have the real initials of P.P.?
